Essay and Art Contest Rules

CESEP™ is an international educational outreach initiative to engage teachers and students from different countries and cultures in the dialogue of healthy sport. Students shall submit an essay (150-200 word max) that reflects their values on the culture of sport and competition on a level and clean playing field. In addition to the dialogue, essay and ongoing discussion, we will encourage youth to submit drawings or other forms of artwork along with their writing.
Essays may be submitted via the Internet and downloaded by our webmaster, or mailed to the below address. They will be archived until our cutoff date and then submitted to an independent review panel for a decision as to which essays and/or drawings merit exhibition at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Art and drawings will be submitted by mail to the regional coordinators or by electronic format if available. As the Grand Prizes of this Contest, 25 of the best essays will be awarded the prize of being honored at an exhibit on display at the 2008 Olympic Games.
